Nepal-Japan Friendship Summit

Enabling investment and a gateway to South Asia.

About the summit

Trust, collaboration, investment

Since diplomatic relations were established in 1954, Japan has remained one of Nepal’s most steadfast development partners.

Recognizing investment as a vehicle for capital, knowledge exchange, innovation and skills development, the Nepal-Japan Friendship Summit was conceived to strengthen bilateral cooperation, attract sustainable investment and create inclusive economic opportunities.

Nepal has a young, growing workforce; Japan faces a shrinking working-age population. Those contrasting dynamics create a strong basis for partnership through education, skills development and cross-border collaboration.

Organised by Lead X Nepal, Fourth Valley Concierge Corporation (Japan) and Idea Studio Nepal.
