A warm and heartfelt welcome to the Nepal-Japan Friendship Summit 2025!

We celebrated the success of the inaugural Summit in 2022 that was focused on building TRUST. The second Summit in 2024 was on fostering COLLABORATION. This Summit of 2025 signifies the third. It aims to enable INVESTMENT as a step forward after building trust and fostering collaborations. With more than 25 Japanese companies attending this Summit, it is set to create opportunities for joint ventures focusing on attracting foreign investment to Nepal, positioning the country as a prominent hub for the South Asian market. Furthering this is exploring opportunities in foreign direct investment (FDI) areas of collaborations to promote Nepali products in Japanese markets and attract investments alongside strategies to ensure sustainable growth for the both countries.

‎This is not just a Summit; it is the initiation of a transformative journey. It goes beyond changing Nepal’s narrative as a potential investment hub; it aims to create a lasting impact through a collaborative ecosystem, a feat yet to be attempted in this part of the world. We invite you to be a part of this historic endeavor and contribute to the rescaling and global recognition of Nepal’s untapped potential.

TU
Tribhuvan University (TU) established in 1959, is the first national institution of higher education in Nepal. It is the world's 12th largest institution in terms of enrollment. The university offers 2,079 undergraduate and 2,000 postgraduate programs. The Nepalese government agreed to declare TU as the Central University on January 8, 2013. There are five institutes and four faculties, under which 40 central departments, 62 constituent campuses, and 1062 affiliated colleges in various disciplines are running.
